Based in Cape Town, South Africa. Since the release of his first EP, Ryan Hill has gone on to feature on influential German labels Katermukke and Jannowitz, Spanish labels Awen and Beatfreaks, and Ukranian label Dear Deer. Four of his tracks have made it into the Beatport Top 100 Hype Genre Charts, and his work has been remixed by the likes of K.A.L.I.L and Maksim Dark. He has also received support from Gaga, Mateo! for his track “Nebula” and from Cherry (UA) for his track, "Akira". Although his sound could be categorized as Melodic Techno with psychedelic influences, he has always been influenced by an array of genres, from Deep House to Indie Dance and everything in between. This has allowed his carefully curated sets and productions to be diverse and full of variety, never restricted to one specific genre, instead focusing on maintaining the same overall energy and sound. A musical blend that can be described as spacey, melodic, progressive and consistently high in energy.
